ROBERT TERCEK
Executive Vice President / Chief Strategy Officer, (M)FORMA Group

Robert Tercek is responsible for the content programming and global partnership strategy for (M)FORMA Group, the global publisher of mobile entertainment. 

In his 18 year career, Mr. Tercek has supervised the launch of multimedia content and services on every digital platform, including satellite and cable television, PC CD-ROM and game consoles, narrowband and broadband Internet, interactive television, and wireless networks.  His credits include some of the most successful interactive entertainment titles, such as the online editions of Jeopardy!, Wheel of Fortune, and Trivial Pursuit for Sony Pictures, and the Monty Python computer game series for 7th Level.

Tercek draws upon his diverse experience as a programming executive, a television director, and a game designer.  Previously, as President of Applications & Services at PacketVideo, he was responsible for launching the world’s first multimedia content service on mobile devices for NTT DoCoMo’s 3G network., and established strategic alliances with 320 media companies, including motion picture studios and broadcasters worldwide.  Earlier, as SVP Digital Media at Sony Pictures Entertainment, he established Sony’s broadband, wireless and interactive television business units, and was instrumental in the launch of Sony’s online game service Station@Sony.com.  In the early 1990s, he was a co-founder of game publisher 7th Level.   As a creative director at MTV: Music Television, he launched the pop culture TV channel in 30 international territories.

Tercek is a member of the faculty at the University of Southern California School of Cinema-Television. He is a founding member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences' Interactive Media executive committee.   He serves as Chairman of the Game Developer Conference’s mobile symposium.
